Who is your BFF lender in the Rochester / Finger Lakes region?
Hello BP community,
I hear on the BP podcast all the time about investors who have the local lender that has made all their creative investment dreams come true. My question is, who is that person in the Rochester, NY or Finger Lakes area? I have a couple buy and hold deals in the works that I will need mortgages on. I am not looking to do any weird deals up front, but I want to start building a relationship with a lender who can be creative with me in the future once trust is built. I want to work with a lender/bank that is used to working with RE investors and can make some of their own rules. Any recommendations?
Also, should this be a commercial or residential lender? I am only dealing with buy and hold residential properties at the moment, and I am a little intimidated by the commercial loan terms that I hear are the standard.
