Hey Guys!

In addition to real estate I also have a software company with a partner.  I thought that it was time to bring together my two businesses and create software to be used for real estate.

I'm looking to my BP family for ideas!  Here's your chance (like a kid in a candy store);

1) what's your biggest challenge in RE?
2) What would solve this?

If I get enough of the same answer I'll do my best to create a solution!!

Thanks in advance for your feedback...I look forward to your answers!

@Brian Cam - Great idea! A big challenge for us is the time it takes when driving for dollars, making lists of the properties, creating mailers, finding the owner's address and sending them. I think a marketing app/site that would integrate with Google for addresses and maps, and your local municipality for property info would be a huge help.

Ex - You are driving for dollars - Your phone knows your location so you would be able to select properties close to you on a map (within a radius, on a specific street, or ideally an individual property), and then click 'Send Mail'. Done.

In the background, the software would get the address for the property you selected, find public records, find the tax/owner mailing, use a template postcard that you created in the software (or whatever mailer you select), postmark it, and mail it.

One challenge is all of the different public record sources, so being able to find and extract owner mailing address would likely be difficult, but maybe tie in listsource somehow? Why reinvent the wheel. Hope this helps!
