Starting a Facebook Group for a University

Hello all,

I currently am enrolled at a University and have two rental properties right by it. I was wondering if it was a good idea to start a Facebook group that allows any current student to look for housing, subletting, etc. At the same time, I will be the admin of this group as well as promote my own properties to all the students. If anyone has an experience with this, that would be great!
