Do you know why Investor Carrot REI sites don't work?

Have you been working with Carrot Real Estate? There are multiple reviews of Investor Carrot, but most of them barely scratch the surface. We decided to take a deep dive and analyze the SEO strategy that Carrot implement on their websites - and how it can be improved.

The key takeaway is that Carrot sites are utterly alike, in terms of technology, content as well as keyword targeting. While cookie-cutter sites are usually frowned upon, Investor Carrot sites seem to benefit from sharing the same subset of data within thousands of websites in the same exact niche. However, there is a clear conflict of interest since they’re effectively pitting their customers against each-other in search rankings with the same targets, and there are only so many spots on the first page.

I take a different tact. I do the seo per zipcode and the investors “purchase” particular zipcodes (2 investors max). When we get an inquiry for a zipcode they’re sent to the investors.

As you said, now it’s one company doing the seo and ads so the cost is shared amongst the investors too.

There's nothing wrong with Carrot sites. The problem is people launch a site, it's live, and they are like yay! I'm done! and they never edit or change anything which is why it's most likely stagnant.

Your entire SEO analogy is wrong. SEO doesn't work like that. Doesn't work like that AT ALL.

It is like saying do you know why an apple doesn't swim? Because it is sweet.

The analogy makes ZERO sense.

BTW SEO doesn't work by "keywords". Google doesn't go by keywords at all. All wrong!!

@Jerryll Noorden I mean, technically you're not wrong though. An apple doesn't swim because it is sweet. humans and animals aren't sweet and they can swim. Basic anatomy wins again!

Damn it Austin, I am supposed to be the scientist here. There can only be one!!
