Congrats to you @Shelby Paget! Eagle is a great place; my family and I came back to Idaho and moved out there when I got out of the Air Force in 2006. I wish I knew then what I know now...we bought our first home in the Lexington Hills subdivision in Dec, 2011: 3 bd, 2.5 bth, 1836 sq ft, 3 car garage, yada, yada. We paid $172,000 with 0% down cause of my VA loan and our mortgage was $930 a month. Having no knowledge about real estate, we sold that house in 2014 for $215k. Had we kept it, that same house is running about $500k now and would easily rent for $2,200 a month! Hang onto it; I believe Eagle is going to be one of those 'legacy' neighborhoods, similar to the the North End or the Foothills where property will continue to climb for decades to come. Great job on that!
