Benefits of being own GC vs Hiring

Hello everyone I am a licensed General Contractor in Sacramento, California. What are the benefits, if any, of doing my own remodels vs if I were to hire another company? How would that work with a hard money lender?

All input is appreciated

Yes, time and money. I used to do all my own projects. and you can be a huge benefit to yourself if you are good. And have good subs. That might be the biggest thing - the ability to call in your own subs who will put you first because you give them so much other work.
