Rehab - LVP and Paint

Hello everyone! My partners and I just purchased our first rental in Chester, PA, and intend to rent out to college kids at the nearby University. We have an idea, but I figured I would come on here for advice at the best/cheapest/most affordable paint and LVP to use that would be good for a rental property. There are so many different kinds of LVP and different kinds of paint so any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance, and feel free to comment with what you have used in the past!

@Sean Beyrouthy, I go with a mid grade LVP. Usually the mid grades start to offer more colors that are attractive.

With paint, I'm not a brand loyalist. I usually use ValSpar from Lowes myself. I would not use their cheapest contractor paints except maybe for flat paint on ceilings.

What I would focus on is using the right sheen in the right places. I use semi-gloss on anything that is likely to be touched a lot or where it might need to be cleaned. So, for me semigloss is on any painted woodwork and interior doors as well as walls and ceilings of bathrooms and kitchens. I use flat white on all other ceilings and satin on all other walls.

Store that extra paint carefully and save the color info. This way you can get matching paint for touchups or repainting if needed later on.
