Making offers on properties

Hey y’all, I am curious about making offers on property.

1. What should I be looking for in a realtor to be making these offers?

2. It seems that realtors are not thrilled with the idea of just making offers on your behalf that they don’t think are going to get accepted, how do I get around this?

3. Can I make offers without a realtor? (I think I know the answer, just looking for some clarification)

Thank you!
