Southern California Brokers/Agents

Good morning BP,

I recently passed the CA real estate license exam (woo!) and am looking for a place to hang my license and work with a reputable team. I've received all kinds of different advice on how to start so I would love some recommendations for great companies/agents in this area.

Just a little about me; I was born and raised in Southern California (Hermosa, Redondo, Torrance area) and have experience as a leasing agent at a property management company for the last 7 months.

Appreciate it, thank you!

Hey @Taylor Lombardo

Welcome to BP!

I am not familiar with any specific brokerages in Hermosa Beach, but the biggest thing in this decision is making sure you find somewhere that is able to add value in the areas you need it most.

What those areas are will differ for everyone (i.e. you may be great at lead gen but need help getting to closing, in which case somewhere that caters towards training may be best. On the other hand, you may be incredibly comfortable with contracts/client management but terrible at lead gen, in which case somewhere that has in-house leads provided would likely be your best bet. Etc)

There is no PERFECT/one size fits all brokerage. There is always trade off between support/tools/etc, commission split, and the work environment.

So, a little self awareness will go a very long way in this decision.

Best of luck!
