I own several assets in Cleveland and am now looking to protect them under a structure. I was reading about a series LLC and was curious if it can let me do infinite libiality separation. My main goal is to create a structure where I can hold each asset in one LLC without having to pay a large fee to create multiple LLC's. Anyone dealing with the same situation in Ohio?
I don't believe OH is a Series LLC state.
I actually recently looked in the past year. There was a bill in the state congress to try to establish this type of entity in Ohio. Unfortunately it did not make it through to voting so it was tabled. I contacted both sponsors to see if they planned on reintroducing at the next session. One of them contacted me but said it was unlikely due to limited support/interest.
