Doing 1031 Exchange advice needed

Hi All,

I have a house I want to sell for 1031 exchange but currently at the month of renew my rental agreement. What should I do, should I renewal 1 year rent with the current renter or month by month since I am selling my house for a 1031. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
