As an active duty Marine, I am looking for side work in real estate for in Fredericksburg VA area and if there are any suggestions when it comes to getting my foot in the door? I am trying to further enhance my skill set and make a little extra money.

Without being a real estate broker carrying steep property mgmt. liability insurance you are not qualified to manage properties. That works for all realtors also without a broker license and special insurance. Feds really crack down because of equal housing laws. You can apply for a position under a broker getting paid by the hour as an employee.
