RE agent/aspiring investor looking to do deals AND learn at the same time!!

Hello all! I'm an agent out of Milwaukee, WI (although I can work anywhere in teh state). I am looking to help investors do deals, as well as learn in order to become an investor myself!

Although I've had a couple bad experiences where my skills/access to info was taken advantage of, I'm still not giving up. I'm not going to assume that ALL investors are teh same. Any suggestions or any investors interested?

As a somewhat experienced investor who has recently started up in the Milwaukee market, I can honestly tell you that there are VERY FEW real estate agents in that city that have any idea what it means to work with investors. We've talked to many agents who have been dubbed "investor specialists" and NONE of them have been able to provide any near decent customer service.

The one agent we did like ending up showing us about a half-dozen properties over 3 hours -- we made 3 offers that day, all at or near full-price. He couldn't find the time to pull comps for us, follow-up on our offers or find us more potential deals. We literally were ready to bring him 30-50 deals a year if he could find them for us, and he just blew us off. And he was supposedly one of the better agents in town, according to a lot of people.

So, my recommendation is to just be attentive, work hard, understand what investors are looking for, and you should do well...
