Small multi-family (2-4 units) other investment.

Purchase price: $312,000
Cash invested: $75,000

First multi-family house hack deal, 6 bed 3 bath unit with two attached garages.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Ability to house hack and live close to Madison, Wi.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS, Agent

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional, 30 year, 20% down

How did you add value to the deal?

remodeled one half myself, floors, paint, yard work, Plan to do a budget friendly kitchen remodel in 2023.

What was the outcome?

so far great house hack allowing my wife and I to save money for next deal.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Screen, background check existing tenants extensively before accepting all terms.
