Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $380,000
Cash invested: $80,000

Duplex-each door= 3br/2ba/2garage in country club community with Tier 1 state university within a mile.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Purchased as personal residence with half rented out.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

It was in my neighborhood where I had been renting a house hack master bedroom.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional residential @ 4%

What was the outcome?

I own the property and it is my entry point to investigate how to finance more real estate deals.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I don’t know enough about putting together financing to move forward with making offers.
