What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
We purchased the La Caleta home as a flip project, but its unique character captured our hearts. As we updated each room with care, it became a home we loved. Instead of selling, we decided to live in it. Over two years, every renovation increased the home’s value significantly. What started as a flip turned into an incredible investment and a dream home for our family.
What was the outcome?
Open House Success and Sale:
After two rewarding years of transforming La Caleta, we finally listed the home on February 27, 2025. We were proud to show it off at an open house, and the response was overwhelming. After just one successful weekend event, multiple strong offers poured in – all at or above asking price. Incredibly, the house sold in only 46 days, closing on April 26, 2025, right at full asking price. We couldn’t have imagined a better outcome.
Lessons learned? Challenges?
A New Beginning
Though it was bittersweet to say goodbye, we were absolutely thrilled with the result. The quick sale and full-price offer were proof that someone would love our home as much as we did. We handed over the keys with hearts full of pride and gratitude, excited to begin our next adventure. La Caleta has been a dream come true for us, and we know its next owners will make many happy memories here too.
