Purchase price: $350,000
Cash invested: $25,000

My first home that I live in and rent out the spare room.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

First home, easy place to get started.

How did you finance this deal?

5% down payment conventional loan.

How did you add value to the deal?

Furnished the house as well as spare room for short and mid-term rentals.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Should have negotiated better on the initial deal, house was reasonably priced though.
