Retirement home in the south

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $385,000
Cash invested: $200,000

Possible retirement home that we currently rent. We love the location. We would renovate more if we decided to retire in it.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

On a golf course in a great communnity

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Online and used a realtor

How did you finance this deal?

Traditional Bank and money form a condo reno and flip.

How did you add value to the deal?

New roof, water heater, paintin, cleaned up yard and removed some trees.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Perhaps we could have paid $5000 less.
