Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Central.

Purchase price: $230,000
Cash invested: $60,000

5 bed 3 bath home, first started as an airbnb switched over to a LTR

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Just wanted to get my feet wet in the game

How did you finance this deal?

Savings

What was the outcome?

Started as an airbnb, didn't work out because all the good clients wanted lake houses to rent and mine was not. I was left with people that didn't respect the property. I switched over to LTR 8 months later and its been smooth sailing since.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Managing the property while living 2.5 hours away was difficult in the beginning. Once i had systems in place it became much easier.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I had an agent named Cookie. She was fantastic and would highly recommend.
