Newbie from the Uk, seeking advice!

I'm currently in my first year of my A levels and I'm 16. I know this is a young age to be thinking of a career but my mates do and I watch programmes about retail often and enjoy the concept and I could see myself doing it and am intrigued by being my own boss! I'm also considering whether or not to go to university as I don't think it's work the £9,000 per year fee for what it actually is and I'm just looking for any advice really in how to get onto the property ladder easy and where to start. Any advice would be much appreciated!
