Accounting For A Subject Too

I  recently bought a property subject too right before the holidays and put a nice penny into it,  however I  didn't want the deed recorded that soon. Im assuming all those expenses are tax deductible for my business.  Has anyone wrote off expenses from a similar situation in the past without recording the deed til the following year?

Sure, you can do that.  The purchase was effective when the deed was signed and delivered to you.  It was not contingent on the recording of the deed.
