New investor in Holland Michigan

I am a new investor in West Michigan. I do not have cash or credit but do have experience in rehabbing rental properties and own a property management company. I have a couple of questions for experienced investors.  Would you recommend starting with flipping or holding properties?  Where can I find investors to help fund my deals? Without having any investments properties under my belt will it be hard to find someone to work with me? Should I find property first or funding? Is there anyone in my area willing to mentor me or let me shadow you on a few deals?
