Closing costs on REO properties

Good evening BP. I'm working on a deal analysis for an REO property & was wondering the odds of the bank paying for closing costs, assuming they accept the offer? I read a couple links online that suggested the bank would consider an offer including closing costs.

Has anyone had experience with a bank paying for closing costs as part of an REO purchase?

Thanks in advance for any insight and assistance.
