I ran into a house that needs major foundation work. The house is listed for 200k and comps around the area are at least 800k is it worth looking into?

Yes, it would be. I pretty sure I'm not ready for it so wanted to know if it's something that might be good

If it's in irreparable condition, would the land itself sell for more than 200K?  You could potentially put 20K into tearing it down and making it attractive to a builder.
