What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I liked the area and the out building that was on the property

How did you finance this deal?

bought as a land contract, paid it off in just over a year

How did you add value to the deal?

The home was left sitting for a few years, I replaced everything. New windows, roof, adding central air new furnace. new paint, electrical, water heater etc etc. huge concrete patio and driveway

What was the outcome?

nice maintenance free home rented for 1200 a month

Lessons learned? Challenges?

dont over pay and stick to your budget.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

did this project solo
