Posted

Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $269,000
Cash invested: $5,000

Duplex in Oakwood Ohio

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS

How did you finance this deal?

VA loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Cosmetic updates - painted and replaced flooring

Lessons learned? Challenges?

The owner was a smoker and the inside of the property was ruined. I expected the property to be turnkey, but it needed a lot of work. Always check for smoke residue!

Congrats on the property!
