What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
We were looking for a fixer upper house that needed minor repairs. This one needed new bathrooms and a new kitchen (among other investments that we discovered after purchase). The location and layout of the property was incredible - right in wine country, flooded with thousands of tourists each year for apple season, an hour from Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, close to the highway, right down the street from the grocery store, and so many outdoorsy things to do around the area.
