Employee Retention Credit (ERC) - Has anyone had success actually getting $26k?

I am being bombarded with calls, texts and emails from companies who want me to go through them for the Employee Retention Credit (ERC).

However it seems quite scammy / lots of red tape. And they want like 33% of funds as a fee. Is that normal? Can we do ourselves?

I am hoping to hear from people who have actually gone through the process. Any thoughts are appreciated! ☮️💚🤘
