Industrial park planned on 1,200 acres south of Austin

An industrial park is in the early stages of planning on more than 1,200 acres near Lockhart, south of Austin. The project would add an employment hub to Caldwell County, which last year was the ninth-fastest growing county in the U.S. among those with at least 20,000 people. There are at least two large-scale data center projects planned, and some large manufacturers have opened up shop. It's also attracted projects to buff up industries like cold storage and a 538-acre innovation hub.
