Hello BP,

I wanted to give everyone an update on some happenings here in California. A ballot initiative is gaining steam to raise taxes on properties valued at more than $3 million. This could effect many owners. Prop 13 has always been a third rail of California politics and it looks like this year there may be some attempted changes. Stay informed as this could greatly effect your investments.

Thanks.  I've been watching this too.  A while back there were discussions about modifying prop 13 to exclude "commercial" properties.  It will be interesting to see what happens.  I thought the pressure would ease now that our budget is "balanced".  Perhaps not.
