Are Americans really looking to move to Canada post election?

Hello Awesome BP Community,

I am trying to get a first hand, clearer picture from this knowledgeable group regarding the what I consider overblown news following the US election in that many Americans are looking to move to Canada in the near future.  Just trying to figure out for myself and my clients, how accurate this is and if it will continue to add to the already overheated housing markets in Toronto and Vancouver given the low Canadian dollar.  

What is your opinion on this and have any of you (your friends, family or clients) consider such a move?  If so, any details (location, housing type, etc.) would be appreciated.

Nope, you heard wrong about Canada, it's too darn cold, they are headed to Belize!!  White beaches, cheap acreage, good amenities and health care and great booze! :)
