The snapping up of investment properties to insulate inflation

Posted

It has come to my attention that since April of last year that wealthy investors have been buying up homes with cash in an effort to invest in something that will follow inflation trends.  Do you think this could lead to a selling off in 1 or 2 years after the economy has stabilized and these wealthy individuals will seek to reinvest their money into a more lucrative investment opportunity?

Real estate has been used as an inflation hedge for decades by many people. There is nothing "new and different" going on. Just like people buy gold in some economic conditions and sell it in others, the financial world always has money moving in one direction or the other. Just stick with your plans and buy deals as you find them.
