Hey guys, Just got a letter in mail that Dakota county (Minnesota) has increased the tax bill $1k this year for the single family house that I own as investment (non-homestead) bought with 25% down. Should I appeal to accessors office? Has anyone had an experience with county t lower the tax bill?

@Toby Khan also you can call the assessors office and see what info they have. If the info is not updated you may not want them inside the property. There was multiple times I would go into a property and be like "ope we didn't know there was an update kitchen or a finished basement or a second bath." And then their value jumps up instead of drops. So be careful especially since you think your value is low already.
