Anyone experience problems with bandit signs in Atlanta???

Has anyone experienced any problems with code enforcement when placing bandit signs in Atlanta? Have there been any success with them? I have used different forms of marketing; but have contemplated bandit signs but have not due to obvious reasons. Any feedback would be great. Please and thanks :)

I can tell you that there's a $ 1000 fine on it and that there are people that are actively watch for them and call the police.

I personally hate them, because they make an area look terrible, and I tear them down when I see them.
