Marketing rentals in SE Michigan to attract quality tenants

Hi All,

I have been marketing my rental properties solely on Craigslist with decent results. I did however, want to see if investors had better luck using other marketing services (specifically, in the SE MI market). Are some of the paid services worth it?

I am in the Westland, Canton, Garden City, Livonia, Plymouth areas in Michigan.

Hi.

I think it all depends on the location and/or condition of your rentals.

Craigslist is more like a "bargain bin" where people are looking for something lower budget.  It works well in the Flint area, but it would be awful in a place like Ann Arbor or Troy or Grand Rapids.

Other posters had excellent ideas.
