Graphics in Marketing letters

Has anyone ever used a small single graphic in an absentee letter. Ive done mailers before and just thought i would see if anyone has used them before and do you thing they made any differasnce at all... opinions!

I haven't tried graphics before, but the marketing experts I know all say that letter that either are or look handwritten get the best response rates. There isn't much sense in bucking the best system if it works.

Making something look like an invitation will improve your open rate. Making something look handwritten will improve the read rate. Mailing to the RIGHT LIST will turn the open rate and read rate into leads. Being good on the phone will turn leads into appointments and/or sales. Being really good on the phone will turn time wasters into people you cross off the list so that you can optimize your time!
