Can I deduct a new truck expense?

I currently have one rental....a townhouse with a small yard.  I personally mow the grass and do the yard maintenance twice a month.  Takes about 30 min.  I use my own car to haul the lawn mower (and yard tools) each time.  If I were to buy a new car (or a truck this time), can I deduct the truck as a business expense?

Of course you can deduct anything used for business usage. But you have to keep records showing total miles and miles used for business. Don't forget to deduct all your miles used for business.....the drives to Walmart or Staples or Costco to get materials and supplies....
