Cleanines in the hallways

I'm a landlord of a 3 unit building and a regular check on it and clean the hallways lately. Tenants have been a little bit of a litter bug leave before belongings and leaving personal belongings like it's storage what would be the best way to approach them about and enforce to keep clean and no personal belongings

@David P.  Start by sending a reminder that hallways must be cleared and no storage in hallways is allowed. Then issue lease violations to those who don't follow the rules. If no one fesses up to the ownership than toss the stuff. If it is an ongoing issue you should be able to figure out who it is and write fines into your lease.
