Best homeowners insurance for Landlords
My insurance company raised the deductible to 1% of the home value. I took a buy and hold strategy so I don’t have a lot of cash flow.
One of my homes has raccoons in the crawl space which is a nasty nuisance. Deductible is around $2700. Repair cost will be $2500-4000 unless I shop around and get creative which I will do.
What do you guys pay for homeowners insurance on rental property? 1%? Flat rate?
Who do you use and love?
