What do you do to keep busy while waiting?

Currently we have enough cash to have one project at a time on the go. I have found it hard to find things to do to stay busy towards our goals as I am not sure what to do during the "waiting period".

Our possession date is April 30th, we have a general contractor (also our PM) who is taking care of contractors etc and scheduling since we are out of province. Since at this time we don't have cash to purchase another property until we put a mortgage on the property and free up our cash, there is really no point in looking at properties coming to the market as we would need minimum 2 months until all reno's etc are finished and market is fairly hot right now and houses are going quick.

What can you recommend to do during this "waiting period" until our cash is free to secure another property besides reading/podcast?

Thanks in advance!

Jay.

Hi Jay

You should still be looking for deals and analyzing them.  And if you find one that works then put it under contract with a long closing and/or long conditional period.

That way you will be ready to close on your next deal the moment your cash is freed up.

Good luck
