Hi BP Nation,

I need a quick reference check on this company: Atlas Capital and Asset Management 12911 8th St, Grandview, MO 64030 and its promoter-Ron Blum. He is a TK provider in Kansas City am dealing with and he has moved the closing date of a planned investment property thrice and I suspect a capacity challenge here.

My funds are sitting idle in my accounts and am incuring interest expense on the other side which does not make any business sense.

Let me know if anyone either knows him personally or about his company: the best deal you ever did may be the one you never did...

I would start by saying that the "tenant" in the thread above is a disgruntled and terminated employee named Jake. Note how the account was opened one day and closed the next.

Onto the next. My Reynal has quite a bit to say. However he does not mention that I purchased and sold 13 duplexes on that same street and he is the ONLY one with a complaint. Mr Reynal also fails to point out that he was the only one of 13 buyers who refused to pay his closing costs (for the loan I underwrote at this very desk). I also ended up paying all of his taxes and for his insurance policy as well. The other allegations are not factual.

Then, Mr Reynal sends me emails insisting that I buy his duplex back for 20k more than I sold it to him for under the threat of impending legal action. Bring it on.

In addition, at closing I ended up paying for all of his taxes and his insurance policy as well. Out of 13 buyers he was the only person we had to do this for. Additionally, these units are easily rented. I will not get into a BP war here and won't attempt a character assassination on his business, as he has on mine, unless prompted further. Obviously it is pretty easy to do on the internet if you have the know how and the desire to do so.

As for Mr Piazza- It is true that one of the two assets he purchased experienced damage after the warranty period had expired. Mr Piazza asked that we reimburse him for the damages and that he was considering another asset purchase. I agreed to discount his next purchase by the amount he had requested. We are disappointed that things turned out as they have. I would also point out that his other asset on 15th was occupied almost immediately (3 years ago). I drive by the property every day on the way to and from work and the tenants are ingrained and take great care of the home. We carry no animosity and are saddened that this relationship is now severed.

It has taken me a while to respond to the thread here. I have sold over 300 homes in the last 2 years and these 2 men are the only folks who feel they have been short shifted. I am willing to speak with Mr Piazza to see if we can renegotiate a settlement, but Mr Reynal is on his own.

Hello. I currently bought a property with Ron and Debbie. They were very kind and helpful in closing the deal. They also grossly mis represented the property I bought. I am a Canadian Investor as well.

They were the property managers for my duplex i bought in KC. I had to fire them because they were unable to rent the unit, and also, while the unit was empty, they supposedly replaced a broken fridge from another of their properties with the working fridge from my unit. They did not replace the fridge.

Ron Blum, Atlas capital asset management, in my opinion, can not be trusted and I will never do business with him again. He knowingly mis leads and will do nothing to rectify the mistake.

He is trying to promote his units as fully rehabbed , but I suggest not to trust a word he says and take a look for yourself. I took him at his word and it cost me $5000 USD to rehab the unit myself.

I have more stories if you are willing to listen.

Hello all,

I am a current renter through Atlas Capital. I'm unaware who actually owns the house I currently reside in. Since renting through this company I have been very unhappy. They are rarely in the office when we go to pay our rent. They hire companies who do cheap and quick fixes. They just put band-aids on the issues. I would go into further detail if I wasn't so scared of loosing the house we have. We love the house, but it has major issues.

Ron and Debbie run the company and have bought a house for their daughter. It seems all the time and money goes to that house. As the contractor was called to her house to pick up trash that had blown around the yard.

They had a nice young man working for them, though he quit. In his words he quit due to reason on why my house wasn't fixed yet.

They are complete slumlords. I would like to find out who the owner of our house is and buy it from them or work directly with them on paying rent.

I hope this gives some insite on what my family goes through. I know Ive been vague, but this is due to not wanting them to find out who wrote this.
