Bidding on Property- Auction .com

I was listening to a older BP podcast and one of the guests mentioned buying prop at auction on line (but this was not the main title or subject of the pod-cast).  He said something to the effect that you have to be careful because the price gets bid up in the auction by.... I believe by the bank. Does any one recall which pod-cast it was (I 'd like to go back and give it another listen)?

The auction site is Zillow and auction.com.  I read the forum posts referenced on the BP site.  Any other advice or suggestions about bidding in an on-line property auction?

Thank you.

Make it a great day.
