Conflict of Interest? Or Am I Paranoid?

Have any other banking employees faced this situation?

I have a 9 to 5 job at PNC Bank in Clermont, FL. I know for a fact that its a conflict of interest to be an actively licensed real estate agent and work for the bank at the same time.

BUT, is it a conflict of interest if I take all the courses, pass the exams, and wait until the day I leave the bank to become active? Is it even possible to put the license activation on hold for a period of time?  I'm working on a couple flips of my own, I just want to be as ready as possible for the day I can quit my job. Being licensed will work in my benefit.

My end goal is learn as much as possible, help people find dream homes, find investments for myself, and become HUD certified.
