Investing in Ottawa and Streator IL

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of investing in either Ottawa or Streator. My main concern is cash flow. Do rental properties in that area cash flow well? Would you recommend investing in this area?

Thanks!

You live in Joliet where theres lots of cashflow deals as well as Aurora and Elgin. Streater/Ottawa are cheap for a reason, higher vacancy lack of good tenants, nearly no appreciation in a normal market.
