Tax Refund with Projects
I recently purchased a 2 unit Househack. I intend on living in one half and add some improvements (a driveway, porch, etc.). Come tax time would I be able to claim those purchases because it was done on an investment property? Or at least claim a percentage since it's only 50% homestead?
