Is Furnished Finders still worth it?
I just renewed my property on the website and I am wondering what everyone is thinking these days?
I have gotten about 30% from them and 70% from Airbnb. So I want to keep it going but not sure how much longer it's gonna be viable for my properties.

Hey Brett, although Furnished Finder is still worth it. I would expand to market on other sites. Facebook and Zillow would be two I recommend as most rent seeking tenants do not know that furnished finder exists let along use it to book their stays.

I think it's worth it. We manage many mid term properties in the Columbus, OH area, and while we do not get all our bookings from FF, for $100 a year it's a no brainer. Those are bookings we would not have gotten if we weren't on FF.
We list our properties on AirBNB, VRBO, Google Vacation Rentals, Furnished Finder and our Direct Booking website. Short and mid term rentals are marketed 24/7, the more you're out there, the more you'll make.

Agreed. I mostly get medical professionals interested in booking one bedrooms or studios. I love the quality of folks I get with FF.

I'm sure it depends on market and property type. For example, our smaller units get a higher proportion of bookings from FF while our nicer more expensive properties get more from Airbnb. But like it was already stated, $100 is negligible and totally worth it even if you get one booking a year from the platform.

@Mason Weiss I have to say facebook is just annoying to post on. I did it for the first time a few days ago and it did not list the correct town so I think I would need to create an account for the property. I put the address in and it kept reverting to my location. Those FB messenger popups are annoying and you do a lot of cut and paste. How do you manage that, is there a better way to do it. Do you turn off messenger?
@Brett Deas I think there may be a shift to airbnb for the 30+ days. Everyone has heard of airbnb but not everyone has heard of FF.

Furnished Finder is still a great place to list but as others mentioned it shouldn't be the only place that you list. I've made great connections with relocation specialist and even a MLB Agent from Furnished Finder that more than pays for itself. I personally get 50% of my bookings from Furnished Finder in the different markets I'm in.

It's just one of the mediums to use. I like FF for general posting, reaching out direct to local companies and staffing agencies, AirBNB/Google Vacation Rentals/VRBO/Booking.com and then ALE/CRS. It's just all about networking!

Yeah the website is clunky to use, needs better search and sort options

Airbnb is working much better for me than FF. The MTR rates on are too low and Airbnb has more eyeballs.

Hello all ~
I'm a newbie here. Been on the sidelines for over a year now. Have put a handful of offers out and get beat out by cash buyers, which I am not, nor do I have a lot of capital. Was initially looking into STR's but have been really intrigued by the MTR's. I've just been all over the map and really haven't zeroed in on an area. Any suggestions for MTR's? The traveling nurses is what peaked my interest but just need to zero in on an area. I know there are all kinds of people willing to help but I already got burned to the tune of $10K and am now trying to go it alone to get my feet wet. Thanks in advance for any insight you all could offer - it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

What I mean is, is it still worth the cost to find tenants?
