Rent to own mobile home

I recently sold my mobile home on a rent to own and have a contract signed by the tenant and myself. He recently paid the balance off and now is asking if he can claim the last 3 years in taxes on the home since he's been paying them since he rented. Is this something that has to be in the terms or is he able to claim the last 3 years in taxes if so then i would I have any issues on my end when I do my taxes?
