Do realtors allow contract assignment if the property is not an REO or a Short sale?

Its not up to the realtor. If the state laws allow(or not) assignment of contracts that will be the decision maker. Make sure you inform the realtor that you are a real estate investor wholesaling the property and that you intend to either assign or double close prior to signing off on the contract.
