Connecting with Leads - frequent number changes

George Pan
Posted

Hello,

I'm currently using a 3 line auto dialer for cold calling and I have to change my numbers every 2-4 weeks. I'd like to ask what you guys are doing in this situation to be able to follow up with your leads without calling them from 3-4 different numbers in a 3 month marketing cycle.

My idea is to get 4 VOIP numbers with local area codes for my markets only for following up with my leads. When a prospect says that they are open to taking an offer I will call them back from one of my lead only VOIP numbers and tell them it's my direct line and handle all communications with them on that number so it never get's flagged for spam.

Is this a good strategy or do you have a more effective approach that prevents a lead from not picking up because you are calling them from 3-4 different numbers

Thanks

My rule of thumb is no more than 400 dials per phone number. Make sure you are registering your phone numbers with the big carriers.
