Hello,

I live in Nevada and I'm new to the area of "Assignment of Contracts" or "Contract Assignments". I would appreciate any input on how to get started and who to talk to. Thanks!

Adam, in business at large as well as in RE, contracts are assignable, unless the contract states otherwise. Some States have assignment disclosures or notices of assignments in their standard contracts, making assignments on different levels of responsibility to perform, with or without recourse and liability. You need to have a quick meeting with an RE attorney in your area to see what is accepted by local custom as all RE is local. Good luck :)
